Caxton Books

Caxton Books is a specialised book supplier to various markets throughout southern Africa. These include primary, secondary and tertiary educational institutions, academic, corporate, city and provincial libraries, government departments, courts of law from magistrates to the appeal and constitutional courts and private sector business from mining houses, legal firms, investment banks and hospitals to medical practices.

While satisfying the needs of any institution, public or private sector, we also cater for individuals who are struggling to find books that are not available in most retail bookshops.

Our supply process is controlled from source through our worldwide network of publishers, wholesalers and distributors. We obtain our requirements from the most competitive point of supply in the USA, Europe or South Africa to provide the most effective service. Our approach is flexible and we will tailor our service to your order for one copy of any book, one copy of many books or many copies of one book.

Back to School 2018

Please select your institution's requirements for 2018 from the drop-down box on the top right of the landing page. Take note of delivery deadlines for free delivery to your school.

Email a copy of your school's booklist to info@caxtonbooks.co.za if you do not see it listed.

We pre-order stock for schools utilising our back to school programme but many books are common across schools so we stress timeous ordering. Delays with out of stock or imported books can be 4 to 6 weeks which will have a dramatic impact on the start of your 2018 academic year.

Place your order by early December to minimise your risk of missing books at the start of the year.
